Online Training
Cardiac arrest has recently been headline news, taking the life of an international pop star and a local student athlete. Now more than ever, Southwest Washington Red Cross urges you to learn CPR/First Aid and how to use an AED or automated external defibrillator. Why? Because these skills help save lives.
The good news? Now, all you need is a computer with an internet connection.
Whether you are a first-timer or just in need of a refresher course, you can take CPR, first aid and AED courses online - 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Many people think they do not have time to learn life-saving skills. But with Red Cross training online 24/7, you can take a course at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home.
These on-line courses take from two to four hours to complete plus you can save your progress and come back later to finish. However, once you begin a class; it must be completed within 14 days. After completing the online portion of the course, a brief hands-on skills session at either the Vancouver or Longview, WA will be scheduled so you can demonstrate what you have learned with the help of an authorized American Red Cross instructor. Once the skills session is completed, you will receive certification for that course.

No more excuses for busy schedules! Now is the time for you to learn the skills to save a life.
